We researched and found out that The Emotion Code is an alternative energy healing technique, authored by Dr. Bradley Nelson, that helps identify and release trapped emotions, which are negative and destructive emotional energies from past events. So, our next question was, of course, How do you identify them?
First of all let explain what the Emotion Code practitioners mean by trapped emotions. They believe these are emotions that are made of energy, just like the rest of the body and the physical universe, they exert an influence on the body’s tissues and can cause acute pain and even cancer. It is then obvious to believe that by releasing these trapped emotions makes conditions right for the body to heal so that physical and emotional difficulties often disappear or become much more manageable.
Betsy Lambert explains the process simply as "It’s like peeling an onion, it generally takes peeling off multiple layers to locate the root cause of a physical or emotional problem. These layers can come from any time in a person’s life or be inherited from many generations ago."
We can all agree that everyone has trapped emotions or “emotional baggage” from painful life events or inherited from our parents. This emotional baggage is very real, and although it's invisible, it can seriously interfere with your happiness and health.
Strong emotions get locked in your body and have no way to get out. They are cantaloupe-sized
balls of pure energy that can actually be felt, each vibrating at a unique frequency that is different
from the organ in which it is trapped. Strong emotions trapped alongside the vibrations of other
strong emotions can collectively imbalance their common organ or part of the body and contribute
to system imbalance, pain and subsequent disease. They can also cause depression, anxiety and
How does it work?
Emotion Code Practitioners use a form of muscle testing that operates like a lie detector test in which a person is hooked up to sensitive electrodes and asked yes-and-no questions. The person's
answers generate very predictable and measurable electrical responses in the body.
Muscle testing allows us to access important information about our health as long as we ask the right questions relating to the body’s symptoms. Betsy uses a pendulum, which is actually a sophisticated tool that acts like an antenna to transmit vibrations from another person’s subconscious mind via their astral bodies’ connection to her physical body, which then triggers her muscle response. Betsy then becomes a proxy for her client whether they are in the same room or across the globe since proxy
testing does not require physical proximity.
Charlotte View hosts, Claudia Pureco and Denise Jones, agreed to go through the process in order to bring our own experience to the test and talk about it during our interview on Friday, April 19, 2013. She explained to us that she works exclusively by telephone and she would send results of each session to us, her clients, by email. We clearly understood that she makes no claims about The Emotion Code curing any sort of ailment, either physical or mental. The Emotion Code is not intended to be a substitute for any therapy or treatment with licensed physicians or psychologists. As an Emotion Code Practitioner, she is not a licensed health professional, and she does not diagnose, treat or cure medical conditions or provide medical advice.
Find out our experience and what we found on our own body and emotions. Was it useful? Was it hard? Was it real? What we liked about it and what we didn't.
